It’s no secret that I have been dreaming of flying away to the Bahamas to meet the swimming pigs! I even suggested that people start calling me ‘Bahama Mama’ which didn’t quite catch on (sad!). But was has been a kind of a secret, if you haven’t been paying attention to my Facebook and Twitter, is that I’m heading to the Bahamas next month! Thanks to the team at Sandals Resorts I’ll be spending 3 nights and 4 glorious sun filled days at Sandals Royal Bahamian.

An exclusive and luxurious resort Sandals Royal Bahamian was once the private club for 1940’s high society such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor (fancy!). Today the resort is the perfect destination for couples looking to get away from it all and spend some time drinking cocktails on the beach, snorkeling in crystal clear water, eating the best food, hitting the spa, or adventuring to the private offshore island.

I haven’t been anywhere new since my trip to Costa Rica in January and my wanderlust was starting to get a little out of hand; looking at photos of tropical destinations when I should have been working, cleaning, or walking the dog (don’t stare at photos ocean villas while walking, folks). So, this trip comes just in time and will be a welcome break from my real life responsibilities. Nothing says relax and forget about the world like a swim up bar in paradise.
