Shananigans Returns

Dear readers, today is March 18 and this is my first blog of the year, I’ve been remiss in my blogging. How great is the word remiss, by the way? It’s super great. So what’s been going on? The short version is simple, life; life has been going on and I’ve been too busy dealing with it to spend much time on my blog.

I’ve been working on some long form pieces with V.v Magazine, something I absolutely love doing, I’ve been working out more, I was in Chicago for a week, I’m planning a trip to Greece in June, I’ve taken on new charity projects (more on that later), and finally I started a new job at Critical Mass in Toronto. Oh! And I’m trying to grow out my pixie cut, the pain of which is perfectly highlighted in this post on Buzzfeed. Number of times I’ve asked Boyfriend to just shave my head, 10,000,000. Number of times he’s agreed, 0. Thanks to Greg May I’m surviving this trying time and my hair is lovely shade of red but if this lasts much longer, I might just buy a wig and convince everyone that I’m an extra in a Zach Braff film.

Wish this was me.

Wish this was me.

If I’m so busy; what am I doing back here? I’m back because I love my blog, I love you guys and I don’t want to give this up. So right now, at this very moment, I’m promising myself to write at least two blogs a week. So If you like talking about yoga, feminism, social media, Toronto events, dogs, food, sex, and movies then stick around because I think this year is going to be a wild ride.

I also plan to start sharing more writing pieces here, a project I started a few years ago, but took a break from thanks to drama with the bio-dad.

I’m glad to be back and I hope you’ll join me for the adventure. Peace & Peaches!
