I love flying, it’s a good thing toobecause I’ve flown a lot over the past year. But I’ve never flown with Air Transat, so I was excited to check out the airline as much as I was excited to get on a plane destined for Greece. It’s so much better than flying for work. So, much better. Seriously. So far so good, I didn’t manage to upgrade my ticket. Sad face. But I did end up sitting with a really sweet young gal, she’s travelling with her family and moved two seats over so that she could sit next to me. I forget how tough life was as a teenager, she just wanted to sit beside a young woman rather than someone, “Old and snoring.” That’s a direct qoute, by the way.
So I’m sitting on this plane, talking to a young girl, who reminds me of me when I was 15, and writing to you fine folks. I’ve been working in the advertising industry for 7 years but the only break I’ve taken since then was a short trip to Sask for Jess’ wedding. And in case you didn’t know already, being a bridesmaid is no kind of vacation. It’s amazing and wonderful, being part of Jess’ wedding to Marc was one of the greatest experiences of my young life, but it wasn’t a vacation. Being a bridesmaid, is a lot of work.
These next two weeks are for me.
I can’t wait for this adventure. It all starts in… like a lot of hours, I’m not figuring out the time difference plus the length of the flight, that’s math and I’m on vacation, people shouldn’t do math on vacation.
